“My Name Is Gossip” Poem
My name is Gossip.
I have no respect for justice.
I maim without killing.
I break hearts and ruin lives.
I am cunning and malicious and gather strength with age.
The more I am quoted the more I am believed.
I flourish at every level of society.
My victims are helpless.
They cannot protect themselves against me because I have no
name and no face.
To track me down is impossible.
The harder you try, the more elusive I become.
I am nobody’s friend.
Once I tarnish a reputation, it is never the same.
I topple governments and ruin marriages.
I ruin careers and cause sleepless nights, heartache and
indigestion.
I spawn suspicion and generate grief.
I make innocent people cry in their pillows.
Even my name hisses.
I AM CALLED GOSSIP.

What is this club, you ask?
It is for shortwave aficionados like yourself, who share the same interest in shortwave listening and look for the latest information on shortwave knowledge, such as radios, antennas, and more.
How To Join
Joining club doesn’t cost anything. There are no fees or monthly charges. The criteria for joining is simple. Listen to the radio program as often as you can. Then call or write me at least once a month with a frequency report. Include the date, frequency and the clarity of the signal, and if you desire, a message about the show that will be read on-air during a future airing. You do not have to be a part of ICTC. It is a club for people who what to be a part of an international community of shortwave listeners.
